GREGG W. BREVOORT  has been working professionally as a Director, Actor and Stage Manager for the past 39 years, having worked with such distinguished companies as Garry Marshall's Falcon Theatre, the Malibu Playhouse in California, New Jersey’s Two River Theater Company, Alaska’s Perseverance Theatre, Minnesota’s Hey City Theatre, Maine’s Penobscot Theatre Company, Vermont’s Dorset Theatre Festival and Lost Nation Theater, New York’s Ensemble Studio Theatre, as well as the Texas Shakespeare Festival and Virginia Shakespeare Festival among numerous others. The former Artistic Director of the Holmdel Theatre Festival in NJ, he also served on the Artistic Advisory Board of the Culver City Public Theatre and was a long-standing voter for the LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards. As an adjunct professor, Gregg teaches Shakespeare and Directing at El Camino College.  He holds a BFA from New York University in Drama and Philosophy and an MFA in Directing & Producing from Columbia University.

Gregg is an accomplished Director with a bold aesthetic that is sophisticated yet wholly accessible. Whether the project is Georg Buchner or Neil Simon, his productions are sleek, professional and thoroughly engaging.

As a Director, Actor and Stage Manager, his commitment to quality and reputation as an outstanding professional has resulted in his collaborating with such noted artists as Anne Bogart, Andrei Serban, Julie Taymor, Jill Charles, Garry Marshall, Penny Marshall, David Mamet, Diane Paulus, Saheem Ali, Justin Townsend, Robert Kaplowitz, Robert M. Rechnitz, Jonathan Fox, Sandy Hey, Molly D. Smith, Stuart Ross, Robert Woodruff, Joe Mantegna,

Robert Wuhl, Allison Janney, Matthew Modine, Jack Klugman, Charles Durning and many, many others.

Whether he is at the helm of mainstage productions, partnering with playwrights, working behind the scenes in support of his colleagues' work or working with emerging artists through educational and apprenticeship programs, Mr. Brevoort has earned a reputation as an outstanding professional and an inspiring theatrical visionary.
