Production Notes

Bobby Crooks is a suspenseful and funny play about a well-dressed man that gets held-up by a street kid. "The Man" proceeds to wrangle his way out of the situation by telling "The Kid" a story of the legendary Bobby Crooks – a mythic street punk who had legendary run-ins with other thugs and bullies.  The Man's storytelling has sort of a snake-charming effect on the Kid – who soon finds that the tables have turned. Finally, it becomes clear that the Man is none other than Bobby Crooks himself – and that the Kid is about to become the victim of one of Bobby's infamous run-ins.

The production featured Drew Cortese in the title role and Alex Kaluzhsky as his would-be assailant.  Also appearing in this production were Peter Duffy and Gregg W. Brevoort.
