Gregg W. Brevoort began his theatrical career as an actor. And while he has gone on to a successful career as a Director and a Stage Manager, he continues to act professionally on the boards. Most recently, Mr. Brevoort played Gloucester in Diane Paulus' New York City production of King Lear.

Gregg has played a variety of diverse roles – playing Shakespearean roles in Lear, As You Like It and Taming of the Shrew to more contemporary roles such as Bertram Cates in Inherit The Wind and Paul Bunyan in Sam Shepard's The Mad Dog Blues. Highlights include playing Lopahkin in Molly Smith's production of The Cherry Orchard. And if you visited Juneau, Alaska anytime during the 1980's, you probably saw Gregg as Cap Swenson, the Swedish dog-musher in the long-running, Gold-Rush musical Lady Lou Revue. Gregg performed that role for over 500 performances.
